Shorter days!

What is this driving home in the dark right after work? I know we go through this every year I can't stand it! Now tonight I have to drive to Brookings in the dark! AARRGH!! Mason is turning 18 tomorrow! Can you believe it? The fact that Mason is a senior and he is making plans for when he graduates has hit me like a ton of bricks! We had our first expense of renting his cap and gown and other '09 stuff. Do you know this kid plans on being in the Twin Cities next summer. Sounds like he is going to be staying with aunt Kelli, I don't think he could be anymore anxious! (Maybe wanting to get away from his sisters plays a part!) LOL
Anyway, the kids are getting big, Chad and I are keeping busy with work. Down to the daily grind, isn't it a blast! NOT! Well I better go, but keep in touch!

Back to normal!

Well things are back to normal at the house, kids are back into the routine of school, Chad and I have the daily grind. We have one hitch though, The transmission is out in Mason's truck so 2 vehicle for 3 people. So Mason and I have been sharing my van, while at the Roosevelt school shop Mason took his transmission and radiator out and have them getting fixed and will be done tonight! Now we will see how long it takes to get it back in. There is only so much time Mason can be in the school shop! I will have to get Chad down there to help Mason. Might make things faster! I need to get Mason back in his wheels! I think he has a new appreciation for vehicles and will be good to his truck now! (Crossing Fingers) TTYL!!

Wisconsin

Well it was quite the weekend. Sam, Natalie, Tracy and I all climbed in Sam's van and set out to Wisconsin to surprise my sister! It was worth the 16 hours we spent driving. You should have seen the look on her face! I thought she was going to wet her pants! The weekend couldn't have been long enough! Saturday night we all went out and had a blast. The whole weekend was a great time! I think it will take all week for us to recover! The lack of sleep really knocks on a person! It was a great time had by all!

Just an update!

Well for us school started August 18th and the kids have really gotten back into the swing of things! Jess has started Volleyball, and the only thing she doesn't like is the AM practices! Labor day has come and gone, but what a weekend it was. I had the weekend off from both jobs, and some of Chad's family came down to see us. It made for a nice weekend, all though we were missing Kass and Jess for the weekend! Next weekend we will not have any kids! (except the dogs!) Even Mason is leaving home! That doesn't happen often. I do have to work my second job for spending money! Have to love that blow money! Saving it up at the moment though! Working towards a new van!
I am trying to figure out when to get Mason's senior pictures done. When between two jobs, the husband, kids, & dogs! Anyone that has any help for me on the senior timeline on when to have things done by, LET ME KNOW!

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!!!

Well what a weekend! We woke up Saturday morning and went to Wild Water West about 12:30-9:30! We got our money's worth there! We had such a great time. Getting home everyone was tired and pretty much went to bed. Sunday was VERY hectic! We got up, Chad and Kass took Jake and Kylie to the dog park, while out they washed Chad's Car and a bird pooped on it right away! HEHE I thought it was funny, Chad not so much! Anyway when they got home all 6 of us hopped in the van and went to the mall to grab something to eat. Once we were done eating, it was time for back to school shopping, nothing like waiting till the last minute! Which we are famous for! Once everyone was done at the Mall, Gordmans and Target, we went to HyVee for our weekly grocery shopping trip! When we got home, we got serious and did some serious cleaning! We were busy until 9:30 last night! I was falling over tired. We got ALOT accomplished! Our house looks REALLY good now! And the kids are back in school so we might manage to keep it clean! Yeah just dreaming! Anyway, hope everyone is ready for school to start, I certainly was! Have a great week and we will talk to you later!

OH BUSY!

Hey everyone, sorry it's been so long! Things have been pretty wild for us as you can imagine! The kids are getting ready to get back to school, don't think they are happy about that, but I am LOVING the idea! I have gotten a promotion here at work! Which leaves me busy throughout the day! (WHICH I LOVE) Kylie was sick and had to spend the night in the hospital, but doing ALOT better now! I really don't have much for time right now, but will get back here in the next day or so!

The 4th

Well the 4th came and went so fast! Of course we went to Flandreau, to Chad's parents and got to see Chad's sister Kelli and her kids. It was great to get together. We took the dogs with, only to find out they are VERY scared of fireworks! Poor Kylie was trembling she was so scared! The kids had fun. We did have 2 friends with us, which was fun, but a lot of work to keep everyone from blowing off their hands, except Miranda though, she doesn't go near fireworks! Jessica says Miranda is a big chicken head! lol The rest of the weekend was pretty lazy, that is until Chad left for Rapid City for work. Gone until Tuesday, of course the kids will be good little angels! HAHA!
